Mylar bag size guide
Dimensions for our 3.5 g, 7 g, 14 g and 28 g stand-up mylar bags, the options you can choose, and how to set up your artwork. Every size has a free print-ready dieline.
Sizes and dimensions
The size names are the fill weight each bag is made for: 3.5 g is an eighth of an ounce and 28 g is about one ounce. Measurements are taken from our dielines. Each bag has a front panel, a back panel and a 40 mm bottom gusset that lets it stand up.

Flat print length is the full printed sheet, front and back panels plus the gusset, before the bag is folded and sealed. Need a different size? We make custom sizes too. Just tell us the dimensions in your quote request.

Artwork checklist
Before you send artwork on one of our dielines, check that you have:
- Extend the background to the bleed line
- Keep all text inside the safe zone
- Put specialty effects (window, spot UV, foil) on their own layers in the template's spot colours
- Save the file in CMYK and list your main Pantone colours
- Outline all text and embed all images
- Name the file with your company, product and bag size
- Send it as an editable PDF
