Child-resistant packaging
Child-resistant (CR) packaging is designed to be hard for young children to open while staying easy for adults. Many regulated products need it. Here is what we make in child-resistant versions and what to check before you order.
Our child-resistant packaging
All of our CR packaging meets the CPSC and ASTM standards required for regulated products. Every option can be custom printed with your brand, from 5,000 units.
- Mylar bags
- Child-resistant zipper locks on stand-up mylar bags, with full custom printing.
- Pre-roll and pop-top tubes
- Child-resistant caps and snap-cap lids in 70 mm, 90 mm, 98 mm, 109 mm and 116 mm.
- Tincture bottles
- Push-and-turn child-resistant dropper caps in all standard sizes.
- Glass jars
- Child-resistant lids as one of the lid options on our jars.
Products with child-resistant options
Before you order
- Check the packaging and labelling rules for every market you sell in. They differ between states and countries.
- Leave room in your artwork for any warnings or compliance text your market requires
- Ask whether a sample is available if you want to try the closure before a full run
- Tell us in your quote request that you need child-resistant packaging, so we quote the right closure
We make the packaging to the CR standard, but the rules for your product and market are yours to confirm. If you're unsure what applies to you, check with your local regulator before ordering.
